How can I use the 'Watchlist' function to express interest in future co-investment opportunities?

Explore the 'Watchlist' function in the Investor Portal to stay in the loop with any future co-investment opportunities you may be interested in.

What is a Watchlist?

The 'Watchlist' function of IV's Investor Portal is essentially an expression of interest. If you would like to be notified when a specific company opens a capital raise, you do so by adding that company to your Watchlist.

What happens once you add a company to your Watchlist?

If/when the company does open their raise or if secondaries become available, and there is an opportunity for you to invest, you will be notified by our team via email.

Please note that Expressions of Interest are not legally binding and do not constitute a formal offer to purchase shares, options, convertible loans, warrants or any other security currently issued or to be issued by the company. Any information obtained or received by Icehouse Ventures in respect of an expression of interest will be held in confidence and will not be shared with any third-party without your prior consent except where required by law or regulation.

Icehouse Ventures uses Expressions of Interest for the purposes of gauging interest in a potential investment and to contact you in relation to your interest in an investment. Icehouse Ventures makes no binding assurance or guarantee that any such securities will become available, however, our team will endeavour to provide you the access and information you need to invest in the companies that you're interested in if the opportunity arises.

How to add companies to your Watchlist:

  1. Log in to the Investor Portal here.
  2. Navigate to 'Companies' on the left sidebar (Step 1)
  3. Head to 'Index' on the top bookmark menu (Step 2)
In the Index, you will have a view of all the companies in our portfolio. Scroll to find the company you are interested in.
Note you can filter the companies by their sector by using the drop-down option shown in the photo below e.g., software, fintech, etc.

Click the company's name/bubble to display their overview as below. Here you can view the company's performance, your transaction history with the company (if applicable), background information, company reports, legal documentation, press coverage and corporate events.

If you want to add the company to your Watchlist, navigate to 'Info' located in the top bookmark menu and click '+ Add to Watchlist.'

On this page, you also have an option to express your interest by indicating a specific investment amount. Doing so will mean you can be notified if the company raises capital or if secondary shares become available.

Note that this is not a binding indication and that you may revoke or amend your interest at any point.

Where to find your Watchlist and how to utilise the other functions on the Watchlist page:

To see what's on your current Watchlist, navigate to Companies on the left sidebar then head to 'Watchlist' located in the top bookmark menu.

Here you will see two sections:

  1. Coming Soon - which will list all the companies that have communicated to Icehouse Ventures that they will be opening a capital raise in the near future. You can add any of these companies to your Watchlist so that you can be personally notified when information related to their capital raise becomes available.
  2. Watchlist - which will list all the companies you've previously expressed interest in and have added to your Watchlist. If there is a company on your Watchlist that currently has a live offer, you can instantaneously invest by clicking 'View Live Offer' and following the online application process flow.

How to remove a company from your Watchlist:

If you no longer intend to invest with a company or if you want to stop receiving information about a company's future capital raises/co-investment opportunities, you can do so by removing the company from your Watchlist as below:
